SOUND RATING
For the up/down STC measurement the bedroom in suite 402 was used as the source room and the bedroom in suite 302 as the receiver room. The floor consisted of carpet overtop of a 1/2" layer of foam underlay placed on a layer of 3.5" concrete. This rested on an 8" Ultra-Bond floor under which there was
a 7/8" furring bar. A layer of regular 1/2" drywall was screwed to the underside of the furring bar.

FIRE RATING
Based on the test results, the Ultra-Bond Composite floor/ceiling assembly obtained a 2-h fire endurance rating under a 100-psf load, when tested in accordance with ASTM E 119-08a.
